Thorogood work boots and shoes are manufactured by Weinbrenner Shoe Company. Much of their footwear is still made in the U.S.A in Merrill and Marshfield, Wisconsin. Being a Wisconsin based company since 1892, they have become one of the most trusted names in the footwear industry. They were one of the first companies to introduce job-fitted safety work boots and have been innovating ever since. They made their name with pioneering occupational footwear.
Thorogood makes boots and shoes for structural and wild land firefighters and emergency response crews. Their fireboots are safer than ever before with slip resistant and puncture resistant technology, meeting NFPA standards.
